Montessori Educator 0 – 3

Hold or actively working towards an AMI Montessori 0-3 diploma qualification, or
equivalent, and ACECQA recognised qualification (ECT, Bachelor of Early Childhood/or
equivalent).
 Hold a Blue Card [Queensland’s Working with Children Check promoting child-safe schools].
 Establish and maintain a Montessori prepared environment.
 Role model respect and have the expertise to observe, critically reflect, and document
children’s progress, within government compliance criteria.
 Providing educational leadership, coaching, mentoring and supervising staff in the
environment.
 Complying with and supporting other staff to comply with school policies and legislation.
 Be committed to ongoing individual and collaborative professional development in
Montessori Education.
 Building positive respectful relationships, with colleagues, parents/ guardians, and external
agencies and participate actively in the life of the school community.
 Be committed to remaining as class educator for 2 years in Toddler Class 18 months to 3
class.
